New post on the Library of Congress blog by Madeline Sheldon highlighting the results of her research into Digital Preservation Policies in libraries and museums around the world.The research focuses on c. 30 institutions, including several in the UK, US and New Zealand:

The organisations under review are chiefly large national organisations with a mandate for large-scale preservation, but the research provides links to published policies which are a useful reference for smaller museums and libraries too.
